Dear Glam Gas,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent purchase from your company. Unfortunately, my first experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning.
Upon bringing the appliance home, we completed the installation as instructed. However, the stove immediately showed multiple issues: the flame was abnormally low, one burner produced no spark, and another burner failed to ignite even with the spark. We did not interfere with the appliance in any way. A technician visited and re-adjusted the installation, after which he left.
Later, when we attempted to use the oven to bake a pizza, the wires at the back of the oven caught fire within just two minutes of operation. This incident was shocking and dangerous. The product was brand new and used exactly as intended, yet it resulted in a serious safety hazard. This experience has completely undermined our trust in the product.
When we requested a replacement, our concern was not taken seriously. Instead, we were told that technicians would be sent again for repairs. Initially, I declined because we had already paid Rs. 1,500 for repairs within the first week — which should never have been necessary for a new product. Despite this, I eventually agreed to the repair. However, the same issue has occurred again: one of the burners is once again failing to spark.
This situation has become highly frustrating. Customers purchase new appliances for convenience and peace of mind — not continuous inconvenience, expense, and safety risks. At this point, I genuinely feel that even buying from a scrap dealer would have been less troublesome than this experience.
I kindly request an immediate replacement of the appliance, or a full refund, as the product is clearly defective and unsafe for use. I hope the company will address this matter seriously and take swift action.
Sincerely,
Ana Luqman
