    Description

The Glam Gas Hot Glow-12 is a 2000W infrared electric stove, also called an electric chulha or hot plate, and our most affordable single cooker. It plugs into any 220V socket, heats up in seconds and keeps the kitchen running when gas pressure drops or load shedding hits. Roti, salan, biryani, daal and chai all cook on it the same way they do on gas.

Hot Glow-12 Electric Stove Price in Pakistan

The latest price is shown above, with delivery across Pakistan. It is the lowest-priced cooker in our infrared range, made for small families, students, hostels and as a backup stove next to a gas hob.

Why People Choose the Hot Glow-12

    • No gas, no cylinder: cook wherever there is a plug, without waiting for a refill or gas pressure to come back.
    • Even heat: the infrared element warms the whole base of the pot, so daal and salan simmer without burning in the middle.
    • Touch controls with child lock: soft-touch buttons set the heat, and the lock stops children switching it on by accident.
    • Overheat protection and cooling fan: the cooker cuts out automatically before it gets too hot, even during long cooking.
    • Any flat pot works: steel, aluminium, cast iron and ceramic. Unlike an induction cooker, it does not need special magnetic cookware.
    • One-wipe cleaning: the smooth glass top has no burner rings or grooves, so a damp cloth is enough once it cools.

How Much Electricity Does It Use?

At full power, 2000W uses about 2 units per hour. On lower settings the element cycles on and off, so actual use is lower. Our guide on electric stove units per hour shows how to estimate your monthly bill.

    FAQs

Is this cooker hard to use for someone not used to electric stoves?

Not really. Tap the soft-touch panel and the heat level shifts, similar to adjusting volume on a speaker. Add the child lock on top of that, and safety-wise it ends up simpler than most gas stoves ever were.

Roti, salan, biryani, mutton, tea. All of it. The heat source changes; what lands on the plate does not.

At full 2000W power it uses about 2 units an hour. On lower heat settings the element cycles on and off, so actual use and cost are lower.

Flat-bottom cookware, stainless steel, ceramic, aluminium, cast iron, all fine. A round-bottom karahi is the exception, since it will not sit flat enough for even heating to work.

10 kg total. Go heavier and the glass takes on stress it was not built for, and heat distribution suffers too.

The electric element and the touch panel, for one full year. Glass cracks or body damage sit outside that, so an accidental drop would not be covered.

Royal Maroon, Smokey Grey and Black. Pick your colour from the options above.

Wait for the glass to cool, then wipe with a damp cloth. No grooves on this flat ceramic top means grease has nowhere to hide, so the clean finishes fast.
